No one wants to experience hay fever, which will cause you to show various uncomfortable symptoms on your face. Therefore, we have ten easy-to-operate and quick-acting ways to help you.
Install the screen window
Regular ventilation is good, but it can be a bad thing during the pollen season. When you ventilate, most of the pollen gets into the house and stays there for a long time, which can aggravate your symptoms.
For this, a quick cure for hay fever is to install window screens.
Your clothes collect pollen from the outside, so it gets inside. It’s best not to strip in the bedroom, where they spend a lot of time at night.
Wash your clothes often, especially after going out. It’s best to let them dry indoors, because if the clothes hang outside, the pollen will hang on them, too.
Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture regularly, preferably using a vacuum cleaner with a hepa. This prevents pollen from returning indoors.
Often wipe smooth ground with wet cloth, otherwise pollen can float in the sky again and again as dust.
Avoid too much outdoor activity
During exercise, you will have a greater need for oxygen and breathe more intensely, which will stimulate the airway and lead to a stronger reaction.
It’s usually better after rain because the pollen gets washed away. But beware: things get worse after a thunderstorm, when pollen is trapped near the ground.

Pollen allergy: treatment on four levels
Allergen avoidance: Allergen avoidance, i.e. avoiding pollen, is the safest method of treating hay fever. However, it is difficult to implement, as the pollen can fly for miles through the air.
Hyposensitization: Specific immunotherapy is the only treatment method that addresses the cause. In the classical variant, the allergy sufferer is supplied with the respective pollen allergen in a gradually increasing dosage in order to make him insensitive to the allergy trigger. In the meantime, however, drop or tablet therapy preparations can also be used – for taking at home. For therapy, preparations should be used for which proof of efficacy has been provided in studies. Hyposensitization should always be performed by a physician with allergological experience.
Medication: Medicinal treatment is used to alleviate and prevent symptoms of hay fever and to treat inflammatory swelling of the mucous membranes. Antihistamines with antiallergic effects and more severe allergic reactions are mainly used, as well as anti-inflammatory cortisone preparations or sometimes leukotriene receptor antagonists to supplement therapy.
Supplementary procedures: Nasal rinsing with isotonic salt solution is a sensible measure to accompany therapy. This natural method has been shown to reduce the need for antiallergic drugs.
Hay fever: Dietary Notes
With regard to hay fever, the three most common reaction strains are pollen, wheat, and milk.
Although there is no evidence of their connection, it is interesting to note that they all originated from the plant.
One possibility is that some hay fever sufferers are gradually developing allergies to the proteins commonly found in grains, grasses, and milk.
In any case, dairy products increase the production of mucus.

If possible, avoid exposure to pollen and vehicle emissions.
