White House chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow is recovering from a heart attack in a hospital in the Washington area.
Before President Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore, he announced the news of Kudello’s illness on Twitter.
Later, the White House issued a statement saying that the 70-year-old Kudrow was in good condition after a “very minor heart attack.”
Cudlow accompanied President Trump to attend the G7 summit held in Canada last week.
After Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trude publicly criticized Trump for imposing tariffs on Canadian products, Kudrolo defended Trump on CNN TV on Sunday.
Kudlow used to be the economic adviser to former President Reagan, who was known as a firm advocate of “supplier economics.” Supply-side economics advocates tax cuts and small government.
